I'm 51 and over the past 18 months have increasingly had sore feet and ankles. Had blood tests which ruled out RA but X-ray showed some signs of osteoarthritis, was sent for scan, diagnosed with mild osteoarthritis in my feet and some osteopenia in my pine. Doc told me to take calcium/bit D supplements and keep exercising. Said it was just one of those things. I am overweight and am trying to lose weight and go to the gym but some days my feet and ankles are so achy and sore, sometimes my knees too. I am literally hobbling. Is there any point at all going back to the GP or will they just fob me off?
