Hello everyone, my name is Dani and I am seeking advice and comfort as I am a nervous wreck about having LIS surgery for anal fissures in two days. Has anyone had this done?
I have a fissure that leaves me in excrutiating pain everyday. Bowel movements make me wanna pass out because they hurt so bad and just general pain has left me out of work. I tried nitroglycerine and sitz baths. I'm eating lots of fiber and taking stool softeners and nothing is helping.
I am having surgery in two days for the fissure and to remove a large skintag covering it.
I am so terrified of the pain during recovery. How can you go potty after being cut or having stitches from skintag removal??! I am terrified that the surgery wont fix this unbearable pain.. I am a nervous wreck. Can anyone talk me off this cliff?
