Do you wear panty liners every day?

I wear thin liners every day as I hate anything other than feeling totally dry down there. Is this normal?
One of my friends says she changes her knickers twice a day for that reason.... What do you do?

Or Modibodi evety day pants

Youmadorwhat Thu 28-Mar-19 22:08:00

No, just at the time of month really

SallyWD Thu 28-Mar-19 22:08:11

Never! Not good for you or the environment.

EstrellaDamn Thu 28-Mar-19 22:08:11

I never, ever do.

Mooncup during my period, never feel the need for any other protection the rest of the time.

alonerinlona Thu 28-Mar-19 22:09:46

Never. Each to their own I guess BUT a PO has made a valid point about the environment.
I use a moon cup for this reason

I am a sweaty crotch type of person and don't want to walk about with damp pants all day. In what way is it not good for me?

Blondielongie Thu 28-Mar-19 22:11:53

There was a massive thread on this a while ago. All women are different. Some don't need any extra protection, others (me included) really need them most of the time sadly, soggy knickers otherwise sad

happyhillock Thu 28-Mar-19 22:13:11

Yes i wear one every day for the same reason

pansydansy Thu 28-Mar-19 22:14:45

I use put toilet paper in my knickers. Does the same job and can be flushed 🤷🏻‍♀️

coffeecoffeecofffee Thu 28-Mar-19 22:14:49

I wear them everyday too- TMI but I get discharge. It makes me feel shitty and unattractive, I've no idea if it's normal as I'm only 20!

ElizabethMainwaring Thu 28-Mar-19 22:14:57

Yes. Especially when it's hot weather.

pansydansy Thu 28-Mar-19 22:15:48

Just

Order654 Thu 28-Mar-19 22:15:59

Nope. Never bought them.

ElizabethMainwaring Thu 28-Mar-19 22:16:14

Not for discharge, just general sweaty dampness.

Chocolatecoffeeaddict Thu 28-Mar-19 22:16:38

Yes I do, I've had four kids and my bladder isn't great, so I wear a pad to stay fresh.

Crossfitgirl Thu 28-Mar-19 22:17:10

I feel damp and uncomfortable after a while if I don't wear one. The people who don't wear them - don't you get damp?
Good point about the environment... But aren't moon cups and the likes just for periods?

No but I do tend to change my knickers twice a day usually. Women have natural discharges to keep our vaginas healthy. Nothing to be ashamed of. Wet days / dry days. Men don't get this. They think if we're wet "down there" we're sexually excited! "No, love, you have to do better than that. It's just a wet day."

Bigonesmallone3 Thu 28-Mar-19 22:19:25

Never do.. don't get damp confused

Whereareyouspot Thu 28-Mar-19 22:20:25

Never have.

I Accept discharge variations as being part and parcel of a normal womanhood.

Singlenotsingle Thu 28-Mar-19 22:21:03

No I don't (wear one) and no I don't (feel damp).

Dramatical Thu 28-Mar-19 22:21:32

Literally no one has said they are ashamed 🤷🏻‍♀️

People have said they don't like the damp feeling so wear liners. That's a practical solution to a physical situation and absolutely nothing to do with shame hmm

Bananasarenottheonlyfruit Thu 28-Mar-19 22:22:14

Never. And no I don't get damp.

Dramatical Thu 28-Mar-19 22:23:07

Another odd comment!

Wearing a liner doesn't mean people don't accept 'womanhood'. Periods are also part and parcel of being female, is it wrong to use protection then?
