Does anyone get weird sensations that feel like pregnancy
Hi all.

My question is does any get weird sensations that feels like pregnancy?

By this I mean, like little flutters at the bottom of your belly? Sometimes like movement, or like a little kick but it's not a kick. It's really hard to describe.

I've had two children already, my youngest is 3 and half. It can't still mean my body is still getting back to normal can it?

Sometimes it feels heavy, like something is pushing down or like something is in my uterus. It is a strange feeling. Right now my uterus area feels heavy. The feelings are most noticeable when I'm sitting down. Other times it catches me off guard, like I literally feel a very gentle kick.

I know I'm not pregnant cause I've done several tests. Clear blue digital and first response. I got my nexplanon implant renewed on 23 January. I've not had any bleeding as of yet. It's my 3rd implant ever since I started being sexuallu active. I know some people don't get bleeding at all. With my other 2 implants I did have bleeding quite regularly. With the implant before this new one, the last 4 months I got regular monthly periods. The Dr did not do a pregnancy test before new implant. She said I could be active right away and I will be covered as it was just a swap, take the old one and put new one in. Based on my calendar my period was 41 days ago. I really don't know what to think. I get nauseous, at times quite bad, and headaches. But I put this down to a new medication, metformin. I've been recently diagnosed type 2 diabetes as I had gestational diabetes with both pregnancies.

Im wondering is there anyone else out there that gets these sensations. And what do you think of it.. Is it something I should consider getting checked out. It happens quite regularly. I've done 4 tests since I got this new implant and all negative

Yes! Not so much now (my youngest is 8) but I remember having this conversation with someone years ago as I was feeling flutters and 'kicks' and when I mentioned it my friend she said she did too.

I get these too! I got it again today and thought I must remember to ask someone if they get it! How odd.

I did. I (retrospectively )put it down to Coeliac disease as I haven't had it again since I was diagnosed and quit gluten.

I've had these. Baby is 2.5 and I still sometimes feel kicks. My theory is that its probably just the digestive system but as we have experienced pregnancy and the kicking from baby we associate it more with a child, especially if a pregnancy was quite recent.

Yes, usually a few days before my period. I always assume it's my ovary flicking out my stubborn egg Grin

That makes a lot of sense @Kobea

Yes I do. I think it's poop moving along the bowel (nice) but yo does feel just like baby kicks. I've had a hysterectomy by the way.

@ColeHawlins isn't coeliac disease quite painful?

I thought I ws going crazy with all these different feelings.

It doesn't bother me, but just makes me wonder about other things.

I'm not actively trying to get pregnant otherwisw I wouldn't be on contraceptives.

I guess I have to ride it out lol..

@Kobea I get what you mean, but I have a good Digestive system lol, and I kind of know the feeling when it's to do with poop. But your theory does make sense.

Ive had the feeling all night, and still feeling it lightly this morning.

Guess the human body can be a strange thing.

Agree with Kobea.

I think I probably felt them before pregnancies but didn't bat an eyelid. Now they feel like a baby kicking because I've had that experience.

Very weird though.

Especially after my kids were born. I bought a pregnancy test a few times as I panicked I was unknowingly 20 week pregnant Grin

@LadiesFinishFights how come you didn't realise you were pregnant? Were you still having periods. I know a few people, well more than a few who have gotten pregnant on nexplanon strangely enough

I get the feeling of kicks being Digestive, but how do you explain the heaviness feeling. Sometimes when I lean forward I literally feel like I'm squashing a ball inside me. Can that still be related to the digestive system?

Does implant counteract with pregnancy tests? Can they give the test a false negative.. But then again 4 negatives doesn't make sense lol

Anony I wasn't pregnant. I just mean a few times I felt sensations so strings I thought I must be 20 weeks pregnant and bought tests. But it was just my stomach digesting or popping somehow.

ColeHawlins isn't coeliac disease quite painful?

It is now if I slip up and eat the wrong thing.

The year of fluttering was quite a while ago now. So probably at the slightly unhappy tummy stage? I didn't think it was digestive at the time. I don't know really. It was so much like baby flutters though. It's interesting that other women have had similar.

Yes, & it turned out to be heliobacter pylori infection & needed double antibiotics & Acid suppressants to clear it. The whole of my guts were inflamed because of it & that causes problems with digestion as well as bloating etc. I lost several inches off my waist by getting rid of the infection

I've heard it can also be parasites such as tape worm

Yes I get them all the time. I actually once was so convinced I felt an actual foot sticking in me I made Dh feel it too. I've lost quite a bit of weight recently and when I'm lying in bed in the morning I can sort of feel lumps and bumps (think it's my organs/uterus etc!) but yes, weird flutterings, feet feeling and occasional unexplained sickness and intense sense of smell (key preg symptoms for me). Period always on time though (although I have recently met two separate people who found out they were pregnant at 8+ months and had periods throughout...,)

I get this too! And way to old to be pregnant. When I did get investigation for any bowel problem ,turned out I have a " loopy bowel and slow motility" . I sometimes feel like it is gas popping as it works it way down ( TMI ) or digestion issues.

I get this weird sensation that's like bubbles or vibrations in my womb.
You know when you look at the bottom of a pint of cider champagne glass and you can see all the bubbles bubbling to the surface?? Well my womb feels like what that looks like Grin

It's a strange feeling. My gp just brushed it off and didn't take any note of it. It's concerning me more now because it still happens and haven't got to the bottom of it. Funny thing is, now I having recurrent dreams that I'm pregnant.. And both times so far, I've been around 8 months along!!! And I didn't find out until then when I started getting braxton hicks. I'm considering maybe it could be fibroids, and the movement is that.. But then I don't get pain strong enough.. I've had fibroids when I was pregnant. Before that I had a cyst and I know what the pain feels like. Maybe I should make another trip to gp... I've done a few pregnancy tests just to be sure and all negative although since my implant changed in January I've not had a period apart from what seemed like a break through bleed on Tuesday. Sorry for TMI.. Xxx
