Any ideas what this could be? Pain In shoulder and weird rash

I am trying to get a Gp appointment for tomorrow/ Friday but in the meantime just wondering if anyone had any ideas what this might be.

I ve had a weird itchy rash across my shoulder and neck since the weekend. Since yesterday I've had the most excruciating pain under my left shoulder blade. It's really really sore and very tender to touch. Ibuprofen doesn't touch it. I generally feel really run down and just meh. I can't work out if the two are related on not and if I'm feeling so tired and low because of the pain in my shoulder.

Wondered if anyone has had similar?

Maybe shingles?

I was going to say shingles too. MIL just must had it and started just like that (she thought it was a heart attack at first though....).

Shingles, possibly gall bladder if you didn't have the rash...

Oh my goodness. I hadn't even thought of that!! I hope not but I do feel pretty rotten today.

My DH has just had a shingles attack and it sounds similar. If you get to the GP pronto, they can prescribe antivirals. It seems to have lessened how bad DH's is.

GP said unlikely to be shingles as rash is slightly on my right shoulder too so has crossed the dividing line which shingles wouldn't do.

She prescribed me naproxen for the pain. I've come away feeling like I didn't explain myself properly as I just feel absolutely awful. Maybe it is just a muscular pain as she seemed to think.
