Vomiting 9 hours after vaccine

Had second lot of vaccines today. 6 in 1 and oral.
About 2 hours after, he projectile vomited (I had to change both of our outfits, down to my knickers...). He doesn't often vomit, but when he does, the volume is colossal.
He just vomited again, 9 hours after the vaccine. He seems totally normal, no temperature, no crying before or after the vomit. Actually, he's quite cheerful for the witching hour!
Just wondering if this is normal? Should I give Calpol? Is this even related to the vaccines? I should add that he is smiling enormously at l

I would check with GP in case he's vomited up the oral vaccine.

I would call 111 to be on the safe side

I would expect it to be an unfortunate coincidence with the amount of stomach bugs doing the rounds at the moment. I would check whether the oral vaccine would have had time to enter the system as it maybe that it is needed again.... Might be worth speaking to a nurse or GP at your practice tomorrow.

Funny how many "coincidences" there seem to be when it comes to vaccines.

I agree, Triangled.

Ring 111 for advice.

A bit like when I got my MMR booster and started to feel ill within a few hours! What was really spooky is half my office who hadn't had a vaccine that day also started to feel unwell too...

When the majority all take a particular action yes there will be lots of "coincidences." Humans are great at confirmation bias.

OP if he seems fine I wouldn't worry, would you have thought twice about it if he hadn't had his jabs? Just check with you Dr in case he needs an extra dose of the oral vaccine.

Well no. You feeling unwell would not have been a coincidence. Your colleagues feeling unwell was the coincidence. A child vomiting a couple of hours after a jab that's known to cause diarrhea and vomiting (e.g. symptoms of rotavirus) wouldn't be a coincidence...and their family/friends coming down with it too would be thanks to it shedding. Tracy the bus driver barfing the same day would be a coincidence.

Mild problems following rotavirus vaccine

Babies might become irritable, or have mild, temporary diarrhea or vomiting after getting a dose of rotavirus vaccine.

For God's sake. What a ridiculous thing to say. He also vomits when I give him Calpol. Would you like to come up with a conspiracy about that too?

@Triangled
Just wanted to apologise for my first reply. I was so rude, and I totally overreacted. So sleep deprived lately.

But your OP was asking if this was related to the vaccine!
