Chickenpox vaccinations today

Hi I’m just after a bit of info for anybody that has had this for their children! I’ve got a ds6 and dd2 - who due to her previous health problems the subject of vaccinating was brought up as worthwhile doing (although she didn’t meet the criteria to have it free on the nhs) So ive decided to pay for it for both of them aand they’re booked in - at boots - this evening. I’m just not to sure what to expect with it being not at their registered gp practise. Is it a qualified nurse that will be doing it? I’ve read some info online that it’s a live vaccine so may make them a bit under the weather but other that that I didn’t really come across any potential risk factors etc
So yes any further advice on what to expect from those that have had it would be most welcome!

My DC had it a few years ago. They were a bit grumpy the next day IIRC but fine after that.

I know this is a couple of days old, but in case anyone else sees it.

DS has had it. He was slightly under the weather following days but not much

Yes it was a nurse that gave it but I believe pharmacists can be trained to give it too

Pharmacists with additional training can also give injections :)
