So tired all the time

The past couple weeks I've constantly been tired and by the end of the day I can barely function. I'm not doing anything out of the ordinary, my sleep hasn't been this good in years. I slept through my alarm this morning, if it wasn't for DC waking me up they wouldn't have got to school.I yawn every other minute, I just can't get anything done whilst I'm like this. I'm not usually like this at all, normally I'm much more awake with much less sleep

could it be seasonal adjustment disorder? Try vitamin D or spending more time outdoors or by the window. Might also be a lack of iron so try an iron supplement. And if nothing improves, go see your GP for a blood test.

Go to the doctor then?

I went to the docs for exactly this before Christmas. Felt so completely drained, asleep on the sofa by 8pm, and felt so oooooold and creaky. Having read your post I’ve realised I have felt LIGHTYEARS better since I’ve cut out added sugar from my diet. I feel energised for the first time in months. So no added sugar meaning I still have potatoes, rice, quinoa, fruit etc carb-wise. Just an idea!

I'm a bit hesitant about going to the doctor, I know I should bit I had a similar problem a couple years ago due to depression which deffiently isn't the case this time but I went to see the gp and nothing was really done. I had a blood test and everything was fine. I know obviously things could be different now but it feels a bit pointless going after last time

With all due respect if you're hesitant about going to the Dr, how are we supposed to help?
You should really get a blood test.
Or, in the meantime try taking some Feraglobin, get plenty of fresh air, exercise, look at your diet and if there's no improvement then see GP?

I agree with all the above. I felt exactly the same - exhausted all the time. I have had blood tests (all clear) but you could be B12 deficient
I would also cut out sugar. I changed my diet and removed sugar, gluten, booze, meat and most carbs. Are lots of green veg, salad, fish and seeds. An overnight recovery (well, two weeks).

Lulu good point, I went veggie mid 2018 and am pretty much teetotal 👌🏻
