Herniated disc anyone? 3 mths post natal...

Went to doc complaiing of persistent severe pain trapped nerves in groin/ buttock leg (sciatica) and neck radiating down to arm.

DS2 was born in March am breastfeeding fully. He is one heavy little fellow.

Docs says after giving me the once over that I have at least one herniated disc possibly two one lower one higher
She says I can cure at home if still there in 6-8 wks she will refer me to chiropracter.

I've already had it for 2 mths plus when pregnant.

She also said that breastfeeding makes it harder to heal due to hormones making te muscles relax more. I'm not quitting no way.


I am going to my own osteo this week
Has anyone else any experience - to my shame I am slim but very unfit, so want to undertake exercise once healed to ensure back remains healthy.
Any tips?
