If you think it's broken, go to A&E.

Hold a cold compress against your toe - a bag of frozen peas wrapped in a teatowel is good -

keep your foot elevated when possible, and don't walk on it!

don't be scared, they'll give you pain killers.

Is there someone who can help you? You really need to rest your foot and get to A&E

Which toe?

You do need to go to A+E so they can point it in the right direction and tape it. A broken toe isn't that big a deal, but it shouldn't be sticking out ...

I hope you're stocked up on painkillers! Take the maximum dose to keep on top of the pain. Keep your leg rested up elevated, but do move it gently to keep the blood circulation going.

Hope it gets better soon

What'd you go and do that for?? Breaking a toe! How hard did you have to whack it to break it - I'm thinking a couple of weeks off work would be good?
