Boys testicles aged 6 - should they have hairs?

adelicatequestion · 14/06/2007 22:54

I have just noticed that DS who's 6 has soft hairs on his testicles. They are noticible but I would describe them as bum fluff not pubic.

Is this normal? I've never noticed them on his brother.

what are you going to do if it isn't normal - start waxing him?
I really don't think this is something to worry about.

How closely are you looking?

lol at waxing!

I can't say I noticed on my dcs. I'm sure it's perfectly normal

Honestly I never got close enough to my boys' testicles to notice!

And testicles as such are hairless anyway, aren't they? I mean the hairs are on the bits round about, aren't they?

I can't believe I'm sitting here thinking about whether testicles are hairy

Thanks! I don;t get that close normally, but I just noticed them after a bath one night and there are loads!

Waxing yuck and this a boy who squeals when he gets a scratch on him. Waxing would bring the house down. I know it's bad enough when I have my legs done LOL.

It was a genuine question. He has been ill lately with lumps in his neck and |i thought it might be indicative of something else going on. Took him to the drs and he says the lumps in his neck are normal.

My son has very light fluff all over him including his testicles. I think its normal he has always had it and he is 4.5 now.
