Hi everone. Get sporadic bouts of IBS - this weekend has been very sore! Usually take peppermint and also charcoal capsules to helpe relieve symptoms.

Am TTC - is it safe to take them?

Any advice or directions to reliable info would be REALLY appreciated....

I believe so!!! By the way, charcoal absorbs nutrients as well, so I'd be wary of that, as you obviously need all the vitamins and minerals you can get.
I think there is am aromatherapy site somewhere that has lots of info (well of course there is, I'm being thick, I just can't remember and in any case I can't do links!!) You may want to try homeopathy as that is really safe, or hypnotherapy to help control the anxiety that drives IBS. Good Luck with everything

Thanks purpleduck - great news. Can you direct me (I can't do links either!) to the aromatherapy website? There is so much out there........

Many thanks
