Daily Detox drink in a can!

I went to the vitality show a couple of months ago and got given a can called Daily Detox, and it has been sat watching me ever since!! The packet says you should have one a day for 12 days, then one everyother day for 12 days then reduce again. Has anyone tried it? i am going to be brave and try this can, but wondered if anyone had had it long term? I know you can buy it from holland and barrat (sp)

If you feel like trying it out, why not? I think our bodies are pretty good at cleaning themselves out, given half a chance, so I expect it's all sales talk. If you think something is going to make you feel better it probably will, even peanut butter sandwiches. I tried some detox tea from h & B and it was horrible. Never again!

There was a really good series on BBC2 not too long ago and one of the programmes followed a group of women who went on a detox for a week or so and another group who didn't. Their results were identical at the end of the day so, despite previously considering the detox route, I've decided not to bother now (And my one friend who detoxes religiously, always comes down with a dreadful cold/ailment afterwards... )
