Who is up for the 'Test of all Tests?' The TRAMPOLINE test!

Talking with ultra fit toned friend over lunch yesterday we got talking about pelvic floor muscles

She mentioned that no matter how toned and tight you think yous are , you need to go on a trampoline for the ACID TEST ( or alkaline depending on diet!)

She then regailed me wih stories of women hastily leaving parties to get changed and how if she got a trampoline we would have to get a pack of tena lady to offer women before they partake!

Who is up for it?
How many bounces?
How full a bladder?

Oh jeez, not the trampoline! I did have a go on a bouncy castle at the weekend and let's just say I was glad I was wearing very dark jeans .... there was a distinct dampness in the gusset region. Is that TMI?

Not at all ! I think it is when the trampoline goes sort of 'right down' that gravity is supposed to have a pull like no other toy!

I have no problem in that area thank you very much!
I'm quite grateful for that as ds drags me onto his tramopline at least once a day.
You may come to my house to try our trampoline without public ridicule.

Enid - bouncy castle is sadly no measure of success on a trampoline

Despite having done fairly advances pilates for a few years and thinking my pelvic floor was 'water-tight', I do need to go to the loo before going on the trampoline

quadrophenia · 03/05/2007 11:28

actually thats a bit of an exaggeration if i do little bounces I can get away with it, but if i jump properly then not even tena lady could hold it

I was bouncing on my knees on a trampoline a couple of weeks ago. No leakage but certainly a strange 'sagging' feeling Been doing those wretched exercises ever since!

this scares me - need to find an unmanned trampoline!

V nasty - I manage about 6 bounces on an empty bladder - none on a full one (and I'm a distance runner!)

PMSL..literally 3 bounces and I need to change my knackers

Report
honeybunny · 03/05/2007 18:33

I think I've managed about 10mins, but then it was lack of breath and dizziness from trying to break my all time record of swivel hip moves that made me stop. That and the kids going "PERLEEEAAASE can we have a turn". 4PGS, 3CS and 1SVD.
