laparoscopy recovery with endo removal

Hello
i am due to have a lap/hystoscopy/dye in a couple of weeks. I've been trying to gauge from other posts how long the ACTUAL recovery time is. I know it varies.... I don't suffer from much pain (only during AF) my ovary is stuck to my uterus so that adhesion has to be removed, but i doubt there will be much more endo (if they find that- hopefully NOT) that needs to be removed. Based on this do you think I'll be able to go to an event and stand for an hour or so 6 days after my op? I am trying to be optimistic. I had a keyhole surgery for my Gall bladder and was feeling fine to leave the house after 5 days. thank you!

Everyone’s recovery is different. I had a lap recently. No adhesion removal but I had a d&c and a few biopsies taken. I was off work for two weeks and was very, very tired during those weeks. I did a quick potter around the shops (like literally got 3 things) 5 days post op and then slept for 5 hours!

So I wouldn’t have been able for it but I’d say see how you’re feeling and judge it by that. It wasn’t even the pain with me (although my stitches were still pulling at that stage) but I was just very tired and still couldn’t walk very fast.

Best of luck with it all!
