it's taking me forever to get rid of mine

I thought it was recurring but turns out it never went away

they can give you much more kick-ass stuff than those overnight jobbies

she needs the drugs, man

Bit drastic but it worked for me when Diflucan stopped working.
Cut out ALL sugar and yeast products (including wine and beer ). It took about 6-8 weeks but it went and has only come back after anti-biotics which I try and avoid like the plague!
Its very hard to cut out sugar as its in everything but it did work. Hardest bit was finding alternative things to snack on but the positives were: I felt really well, the thrush went and I lost a load of weight.

HTH

I bought some acidophilus lactobacillus from an independant health food shop. It's a probiotic, like in the youghurt drinks, but in a much higher dose and without all the nasty sugars that are in the drinks. It helps by keeping the bacteria levels balanced, and seems to be working for me.

I'd advise her to go see the dr or nurse, just in case. I hope I'm not alarming you but, you can get recurrent thrush with diabetes. I'd get it checked in case, at least the dr could give her some Kick ass stuff.
