Fucking flu

Was meant to be st eagerly awaited and much looked forward to gig tonight. Instead am in bed feeling like I’ve been run over. Acheing everything, fatigue, flu like symptoms. Is it not a bit early for flu? Anyone else had this and how long did it last

12 days here. In bed for 6 unable to eat.
Tonsilitis and chest infection. Awful cough 3 weeks later

Have had very heavy cold for 13 days, now developed a dreadfully sore throat (something I haven"t had for years), I can barely swallow.
Wtf is going on?
It's not 'flu, but it is very unpleasant.

14 days here, and only just feeling slightly better.
Shaking, shivering, sweating, muscles, glands and joints very painful. No energy, even hurts my bones to sit on the loo.
No appetite (not a single bloody ounce lost though!!)
Now left with a hacking cough and a very woolley head. I've cleared Tesco pharmacy of its entire stock of painkillers.
