Appointment not in 2 week window should I complain?

I am 10 years post menopause and recently had bleeding like a light period.

Was referred for scan and this showed thickening of womb lining. Was referred for a hysteroscopy and told this needed to be done within two weeks due to possibility of womb cancer.

A week later have just had call from hospital with appointment which is 3 weeks after scan date.

Should I complain or is the delay not going to make any difference in the event I do have cancer?

Phone and ask for an appointment sooner and mention the two week wait

A week is unlikely to make any difference, but it’s worth asking if they can fit you in sooner as flumpy suggests. Good luck Flowers

No chance of getting earlier appointment unfortunately apparently they have extended the clinic already.

Will be fretting for two weeks now Sad

Physically, it won't make any difference but mentally of course it makes it harder for you. Sadly the NHS is struggling.
I do hope you get good news when it is all sorted. Flowers
