What are the possible causes of just stopping having periods?

I haven't had a period since early July. Always been regular as clockwork before.

Obviously I know more pregnancy is one reason but that is so highly unlikely that it's near on impossible.

I did have an accident and then surgery in mid August and so I suppose that could be a factor by I was already two weeks late by then.

I am 39. Surely it can't be the menopause already?? No hot flushes or anything, I feel a bit nauseated and very hungry all the time but I don't think those are menopausal symptoms are they?

"Highly unlikely" isn't impossible- time to POAS.

If that's negative, you could ask for a blood test to see if you are in peri menopause.

No really. I've only had sex once since my last period and that was about ten days before I should have ovulated and we used a condom.

I suffered from severe sickness with all my pregnancies. And my breasts grew massively. There is no way I could be 11 weeks pregnant and not know.
