TMI blood loss should i be concerned?

51 yrs old and had meno symptoms for few years.just lately had dribs and drabs most days but no proper period for a few months.
just went for a wee as i could feel blood flowing so thought oh might be period re-starting.as i sat on loo huge clot fell out - prob size of my hand maybe less....

is this normal????

No experience but I'd say that's not right and to see your GP asap or call 111 if you feel unwell.

Completely normal, don't panic. I'm peri and have a period once every 4-5 months. I then bleed for 4 weeks and lose massive clots all the way through. Gynae said it's because lining of the uterus builds up then it comes out during the period. It's not nice but it does happen to a lot of people.
