I can't see anything.

One side of your head is in a completely different light to the other which of course will make it look a different colour on a selfie.

I can't either.

It's definitely there. It's less visible in the picture than in person. It's on the left hand side of the picture, starting just above my eyebrow and going up my forehead.

I can see a slight discolouration - I take it you've tried using make up remover or wipes and it's not worked? It looks like make up to me that's all

Could you have knocked your head in your sleep or got some sun burn in a bit of a random fashion?

I had purple discolouration under my eye last week and a bit of Vaseline helped to get rid within a day or two

I can see it OP. It does look like a faint bruise, stupidly obvious question but you haven't bumped your head or slept with your head up against something hard have you?

Have you tried a face wipe or damp flannel?

Can't see it in the picture sorry.

If it's purple surely it's just a bruise?

It's definitely not makeup. I wiped it, then exfoliated. Still there.

I'm out just now and have covered it in my full coverage foundation so I'll get a pic again once I'm home with my makeup off.

If you are out go to a pharmacy and see if they can identify it. I find them very helpful and usually go there rather than bother the gp

If you have health anxiety then it's a bad idea for posters to offer reassurances / a diagnosis anyway. Far better would be to see your doctor for tips on how to deal with your HA which I know is a hard thing to live with

I can see what looks like a long, faint, purplish bruise. Have you had a bump? I'm very pale and you can see my veins quite clearly sometimes.

I can see it. Has it always been there and you are now just noticing it, or is it new?

I have something similar but its been there since birth, its a birthmark

I don't recall bumping it at all. its new, definitely. I've got a great gp who fully understands my anxiety. Just a pain having to wait until Friday to see him.
