Been feeling under weather for if I'm honest last 2yrs. Had test for under active thyroid at that time which was clear. DM suffered from that so I'm familiar with the symptoms & tick a lot of the boxes- hair loss/dry skin/feeling cold/struggling to lose weight (despite following SW religiously). In addition to that I think I'm perimenopausal. Periods haven't been regular since I had last of my DC (9yrs) often fortnightly, either "stealth" ones where I'm suddenly bleeding profusely (apologies if this is tmi) or about a week of raging pms first. I have other symptoms, general aches in joints, mild nausea from time to time, regular severe stomach cramps & bloating.
If you've managed to get through that thank you. Wibu to write myself notes or even keep a diary to take into gp (appt not for another 2 weeks) as I'm sure I'll forget half of it and I don't want to be fobbed off as each thing on its own is tiny but altogether it's really getting me down?

Nothing wrong with taking notes. I took my iPad once to show the app I use to track my periods just so I could convey how frequent they are (week in week off at the moment!)

Yes take notes, the GPS like anything that helps you get the most from your 10minutes. You may find that you are anaemic. I went to the GP thinking much the same as you (without the heavy periods, mine have almost stopped) but still found out was anaemic which explains loads of symptoms and is easily fixed.
Good luck
