Scar healing after fallopian cyst

Hi ladies,

Sorry, I have a long one for you!

I had an emergency surgery to get rid of a fallopian cyst about nine months ago.
The whole thing was dramatic because they thought it was an infected appendix at the time so i didn't get any checks before hand or anything once getting to hospital ... Eventually (the first time I was told to get over the pain, then my gp said the same until I found someone else who listened after two week so of agony ). I had a large cyst, about 14cm on my left Fallopian tube which had twisted itself and gotten caught, also causing an infection in my right tube. Following the unexpectedly long surgery they had to keep me in for a further week because the drainage bag wasn't collecting anything, it was just pouring out of me rather dramatically, and my pulse was really low so they couldn't give me pain killers to send home. To top it off when I did get home one of the incisions became infected, luckily I work at a hospice so one of the nurses sorted me out (I wasn't about to go back to my gp, that's for sure!)

So now I'm nine months on and my question is how much more will the scars fade? I know I shouldn't care but I'm 18 and nervous about the summer and starting university because they're so obvious, my partner has been amazing but it's other people that I worry about.
I have attached images of one month later to now. You can't really tell here but the lower one is really dipped in and looks like another belly button- I have three go me!

Thank you in advance for reading all this, sorry it was so long.
