School meeting

Hi I'm worried I have a meeting next week with my child teachers . Iv had issues with my health from Christmas have had thyroid problems and this may be related . My main problem is muscle weakness and stiffness in legs and coordination and fatigue . Iv just started b12 inj have had 2 so not much difference yet . So getting around iv noticed is more and more difficult feel a bit unsafe and. Don't want to embarrass my child . But really don't think I can do the whole getting around with lots of parents and the talking to teachers . What can I do ? I was considering ringing today to explain but I really want to know how my daughters getting on and meet her teachers . Feel so bad I'm letting her down .

You're not letting her down at all. I'm assuming she's at secondary school. Could you contact school and ask if you could just see tutor or head of year? Subject teachers could send their comments to this one person? Or could email or phone you direct if you prefer not to go to school.

Thank you for saying that . Yes year 1 . I do my very best in every other way . I just cannot manage it at the minute . So I might ring year head .? My child was so excited to show me them all but I know what I'm capable off X

Year 1, as in a 5 year old? You'll only be meeting the class teacher then.

Hi I am a teacher in a secondary school. Contact her tutor or head of year and explain. Ask them if possible to get comments emailed to you by each subject teacher or for the head of year to collect and send to you. Any good school should be more than happy to do this for you.
