This is minor, right?

For the last month or two I've been occasionally experiencing pain in my left lower abdomen. Probably (I think) in the region of my left ovary.

The pain will suddenly appear, take my breath away, then go again.

I don't think it's linked to my menstrual cycle as it's fairly frequent (and I can't link it to either my period or ovulation)

I've had ovarian cysts before (a large one that needed surgery, but by the time they did it it had disappeared on its own), but they didn't give me pain.

I've made a gp appointment for a few weeks time as didn't feel that it was urgent - I don't need to go any sooner do I?

Anyone else experience similar and have words of wisdom?

That's interesting - how did you get diagnosed with that?

No hip pain (but do have foot/back pain). I'm going to orthopaedic clinic this week so might mention it

Could be a bowel spasm.
