30weeks pregnant. Am I experiencing temporal lobe/dejavu seizures? Anyone experience this?

Am 30weeks pregnant, second pregnancy. For the past month I have been having weird moments, every other day, up to twice a day and generally feeling very spaced out. I was getting headaches but they stopped when I started having these episodes. Basically, I suddenly start getting a scared sort of feeling like I am going through trauma, I get weird thoughts run through my head quickly like dejavu of dreams I have had, everything that's actually happening around me doesn't seem real, sort of feel like my head is detached from my body. I am conscious and can say 'I'm having a moment. Give me a minute'. I have to deep breath through it until it ends 1-2minutes later. After I feel tired and sick and it takes a moment for me to go back to normal. Dr suggested maybe my blood sugar was dipping slightly so to eat 'brown foods'. This has made no difference. I feel a bit fobbed off. I work with people with epilepsy but they're all grand mal/tonic clonics/myoclonics and I wasn't aware of being conscious during seizures. Do you think it's worth mentioning? I am otherwise relatively healthy, late 20s, never experienced this before. I haven't had a head injury or anything either so not sure why it would have been brought on? Feel a bit lost and like the dr isn't hugely interested. Thanks.

"eat brown foods"? Confused
Have you had your blood pressure checked and urine dipped?

I know it's not helpful is it. She then elaborated with brown pasta and brown bread. urine fine, blood pressure is always fine when checked. Feel pretty shitty about it all.

Have you been checked for anaemia? Maybe see the midwife and describe your experiences to her. My concern was that if you had a touch of cerebral oedema that could cause odd neurological events but v unlikely if urine dip clear and blood pressure normal.
Maybe make a point of snacking every couple of hours for a few days to ensure blood sugar is stable and see if it still happens?

Thank you. Anaemia has been ruled out with blood tests. Was hoping that's what it was. I have spent the past week eating more, avoiding artificial sugars that would cause a crash, carrying snacks to eat etc but no change so far. It happens when I am watching telly, in the pub, in bed at night. I'm so down with it and just want to get back to work. I've had my eyesight checked as it has got worse but not enough to require a change in my lenses. I used to get temporary blindness and tunnel vision in one eye which was put down to a swollen optic nerve but I have been fine for around a year. Guess I am an enigma.

@WellieWanger - I came across your post when googling the very same symptoms. I'm 23 weeks pregnant (2nd pregnancy) and having the exact same episodes as you describe, except maybe not as frequently - at the moment maybe once or twice a week (started around 20 weeks). I also have an eye thing, in that I get frequent ocular migraines (flashing zig zag auras, seemingly triggered by LED lights). I got the migraines in my first pregnancy but not these strange episodes. How are you now? Did you get the answers to whether it was seizures you were experiencing and what was triggering them? And did it stop post-pregnancy? Thanks
