i havent slept around or anything and neither has dh so its not sexually transmitted. It just seems really itchy and sensitive around my clit and it looks like dicharge sort of a white paste.I was wearing tights the other day and am wondering whether thats caused it as it was rubbing that area. Has anyone else experienced this and how do to you clear it up. Everywhere else in that region seems fine.

Could it be thrush? thinks that is one of the downsides of wearing tights.

you have thrush
no need to see doc
get Canesten or similar from pharmacy (grim one with tampax-type applicator and the cream)

Canesten

(I asked fo Canesten in the chemist once, and the stupid old bat behind the counter shouted to her colloegue out the bcak

"SAAAAAAAANNNNNNNDRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA! THIS LADY HERE NEEDS CANESTEN, WHERE IS IT?" She might as well have just shouted "Have you got some itchy vag cream for this woman?")

Btw, that's the only bad Canesten buying experience I have had, and I was afflicted in both pregnancies all the way through

you can get the tablet to take orally now if you got thrush to clear you inside then they sell the cream for the outside!

my god we are tryin for a baby is that a symptom of pregnancy? whats bacterial vaginosis? Is it thrush? its mainly my clit thats ichy and not the actual vagina? I never normally wear tights but my stockings were ruined. I swear im more prone to infections since having kids.

I would definitely get it checked out by a doctor before you start taking any medication. If it's not thrush, then something like Canesten could potentially make the problem worse.

If you don't want to go to your GP, then there should be a sexual health drop-in clinic in your area, maybe at your local hospital. Try looking on the NHS website.
