After getting huge amounts of pain in my lower calves when running and fast walking (and numb feet if I kept running through the pain), physio, blood tests etc my GP had a lumbar x ray done, and it seems I have a 'flattened' disc at L5/S1 and general degeneration/bone spurs. I don't have any back pain at all, am fit, slimmish and 44.
He's prescribed a month of naproxen, but two weeks in and it doesn't seem to make any difference - am not running, but still feels as bad walking.
Has anyone had this pseudoclaudication thing and got better? I feel far to young for this
