My dp has arthritis in both hips and has been offered a hip resurfacing operation. Just trying to find out as much as possible about this - eg. what is recovery time like? Can he expect to be able to run, play tennis etc. afterwards? He used to be really sporty and it's not being able to do this that's getting him down, rather than the pain. He's 37 by the way.
