Coping with disability and depression

I would so appreciate any advice from any mumsnetters whose mobility has quickly deteriorated and how they cope with the inevitable change in their lives .
I have a rare tremor disorder that affects my whole body, back injury and now have other issues regarding hugely swollen legs which the GP is investigating .
Can shuffle between kitchen and living room with Zimmer frame but it exhausts me .
Have had community OT and physio visits .
Just really struggling with the psychological aspects . All the things I loved like walking in nature ,gardening ,cooking and handicrafts I can no longer do.
This is a pity party I know Blush . I have so much to be grateful for . My boys are grown up so have no family responsibility . My DH is ill too with cancer and heart disease . I though I would be looking after him not the other way round .
Guess what I am asking is how do you lovely disabled mumsnetters overcome the negativity and find hope .
Thank you for reading and hope this hasn't come across as to whinging .
I am on antidepressants for acute anxiety and depression but that predates this issue .

Your advice and understanding has helped hugely . Still at the crying stage but going to make some small goal steps now daily .
Thank you Flowers .

OP just be patient with yourself, let your mind adapt its probably dealing with the change in its own way, would growing some indoor plants or window boxes help if you could sit down to do it?

For you OP Flowers

Yes I need to adapt for sure and be patient . Thank you . Hope you are well.
