I would so appreciate any advice from any mumsnetters whose mobility has quickly deteriorated and how they cope with the inevitable change in their lives .
I have a rare tremor disorder that affects my whole body, back injury and now have other issues regarding hugely swollen legs which the GP is investigating .
Can shuffle between kitchen and living room with Zimmer frame but it exhausts me .
Have had community OT and physio visits .
Just really struggling with the psychological aspects . All the things I loved like walking in nature ,gardening ,cooking and handicrafts I can no longer do.
This is a pity party I know . I have so much to be grateful for . My boys are grown up so have no family responsibility . My DH is ill too with cancer and heart disease . I though I would be looking after him not the other way round .
Guess what I am asking is how do you lovely disabled mumsnetters overcome the negativity and find hope .
Thank you for reading and hope this hasn't come across as to whinging .
I am on antidepressants for acute anxiety and depression but that predates this issue .
