Migraine and maybe acupuncture?

I am pregnant at the moment and having almost daily migraines that affect my eyesight and really exhaust me. My gp offers no advice at all really except for drinking water, resting and eating fruit which I do. This is my second pregnancy and my first was exactly the same, migraines right up until the birth!

I was wondering if anyone has tried acupuncture for migraines or any other alternative medicene, practice that they would recommend.
