Had a tiny little cut on my finger, got a bit painful yesterday and worse this morning.

I'm. It sure.
Do you live near a chemist? A pharmasist could advice you.

*not sure

Puss does suggest infection! Get it looked at.

onmybroomstick Thu 19-Jan-17 08:14:01

I really want to pop it would that be a bad idea

EBearhug Thu 19-Jan-17 08:16:18

Yep. You clearly have great powers of resistance, to not have tried to get the pus out!

Northernlurker Thu 19-Jan-17 08:16:41

Do not pop it. Go to pharmacist today for first line advice. It's near a joint and you do not want infection in the joint.

PollyPerky Thu 19-Jan-17 10:08:53

It's nothing smile Just put a dab of Savlon or something on it.

ReggaeShark Thu 19-Jan-17 10:12:11

I think you'll live.

Lovelilies Thu 19-Jan-17 10:18:42

I'd pop it then stick some savlon or other antiseptic on it grin and a plaster.
I'm a nurse halo

Pop it and sudocrem!

How you have resisted I don't know!

onmybroomstick Thu 19-Jan-17 11:47:19

Ha it really hurts! I've put a plaster on it but it feels like it's just hurting more by the minute. Had it looked at while I popped son to the pharmacy n they think it's ok, how something so small hurts so much I don't know!!!!

PatMullins Thu 19-Jan-17 11:48:47

I know you've been told not too but how the bloody hell have you not been tempted to pop that grin

Yes that's infected.

Pop to the chemist and get dressings. Phone your gp, you may need an antibiotic cream for it but see if the pharmacy advice something you could use instead.

Soak it in warm water with a little salt or some Epsom salts and then cream and plaster/small dressing.

onmybroomstick Thu 19-Jan-17 11:55:30

I desperately want to pop it that's why I've covered it up. The pain now tho, will popping it make it worse or relieve it??? The pharmacist said it was ok n to just keep an eye..

UnoriginalNN Thu 19-Jan-17 11:57:59

Pop it. Soak it in salt water, then cover with Savlon or something similar and bandage it up. I have had a few wee cuts like this, the above always sorts it.

Imnotaslimjim Thu 19-Jan-17 11:59:50

Pop it!! It will relieve the pain a little. Soak it in hot salt water then dress it to keep it clean.

onmybroomstick Thu 19-Jan-17 12:07:50

I've popped it! Soooo much puss for one tiny little thing!!

Imnotaslimjim Thu 19-Jan-17 12:12:46

I thought there might be. I bet it feels loads better too. The pressure you can get from the puss is unreal.
