Any dentists around?? ~ Tooth really hurting/very sensitive whilst brushing

The tooth next to my front top tooth for the past couple of days has really started to hurt when I brush it. It has become so sensitive that I can't even put toothepaste on it (I had thought that if I bought a sensitive toothepaste and rubbed it over that would help - how wrong was I!!!!!) There is no markings on tooth, no bashings, gum is not red or swollen ~ in fact nothing out of the ordinary has happened to it, so I have no idea why its has started to hurt!

Anyone got any advice??

Think I am going to have to get an appointment at the dentist
