Hi
my friend has been diagnosed with breast cancer and had a mastectomy. She's asked me to go with her to her chemotherapy sessions, which I'm happy to do. Im just wondering if anyone has any advice as either patient or friend that can help me help her through this emotional time. Any practical tips of what to expect or what to bring with me, anything really!
The appointment is 3 hours long and she might have to wear a cool cap to protect her scalp and hair. I'm bringing my iPad and mags and of course we'll chat. It's her first session, so both of us have no idea what to expect. Any advice would be so much appreciated.
We both love a good giggle and are happy people and my friend is a very positive person and not wallowing in sadness at all. She's been amazing! Thanks
