Urgh norovirus!

So my whole house apart from DH have norovirus! Question is is there any way to prevent DH from catching it or is he a lost cause? We all share a bathroom and it's seen a lot of action this past 24 hours. I've been bleaching and anti-bacing like a madwoman but am now in the throes of it myself and honestly wouldn't wish it on my worst enemy and especially not DH who has a fear of being physically sick. Any tips are welcome!

Also, any tips on how to feel better quicker would be greatly appreciated. Vomiting doesn't bother me as such but it's not my favourite thing!

Forget the anti bac - doesn't work against viruses. Only bleached-based products will work. Bleach everything in the bathroom. Carefully bleach all commonly touched places (light switches, remotes controls, door handles). Your DH needs his own hand towel and bath towel. He needs a new toothbrush that hasn't been in the bathroom. If you have any grape juice / lemon juice in the house, he should drink some. Everyone suffering needs to wash their hands thoroughly and regularly. No one suffering should prepare food for DH until 48 hours after their last symptom. We have avoided passing it on by using these extreme measures. If he does get it, he may not throw up ... it can sometimes be other end only. Good luck.

Also, this is something I do if the kids get sick, make a massive effort not to touch his face with his hands - eyes, nose, mouth. I even avoid eating food with my hands like sandwiches etc but opt for stuff you eat with cutlery. That way if he does get the bacteria on his hands there's a smaller chance of it transferring to him.

Forgot to say - if you can manage to drink some water with lemon juice, citrus is supposed to help kill the virus, so could help you feel better sooner.

I'm feeling so much better today, although haven't eaten yet. It's hit the poor hubby now there was no escape for him I'm afraid poor guy. He doesn't seem to be very sick though, mainly the other end. DD's and I seem to have been left with sinusy/cold like symptoms. Runny nose, sore face, itchy throat etc. Anybody else hear of that after a sickness bug? Doesn't rain but it pours! Poor little DD2 who I thought was better was sick again at my mums last night. Seems to be lasting a lot longer for her. She's only 1.
