poo problem...a bit gross...

Last night I had a No2 and saw quite alot of blood when I wiped.... then I looked in the loo and saw blood streaked faeces.
I didn't worry about it until 4 hours later when I had a wee, when I wiped there was lots of blood again, as if I was having a period.

Anyway, I checked and it was defo coming from around the back iyswim.
I left it over night and still have bleeding today and constantly feel the need to go to the loo.
I don't have haemhorroids and have no pain either, I know you can get bleeding if tear whilst on the loo, but that stings and I feel nothing.
Contemplating ringing NHS direct for advice as don't want to bother GP with it.
Any thoughts???
thanks

Blood in your poo can be a sign of a bacterial infection. If you are worried go and see your GP but TBH I think they'll tell you to wait and see if it clears up over the next few days and then come back if its still happening.

You could have a fissure (not sure if spelt right!) It's a tear in the large intestine/anal passage.

I'd go to the GP if I were you, NHSD will only ask you to go to GP or casualty.
