I am currently on holiday (fly home tomorrow) and was walking on a beach last night and think I may have stood on small bits of glass as the sole of my left foot has been itchy since. There are no cuts and there wasn't any bleeding but it's now the next day and it's still itchy and scratchy. I can walk on my foot fine and can't feel any glass but have a feeling if it was glass it would have been very small bits. Should I be worried? Will I be ok to wait until next week to see GP? Will this pain heal in its own time? ... Or am I over worrying...?
