Spotting between periods

Suddenly started happening (blood looks brown/old)... Do I need to worry? Not on pill, or pregnant... One DD who is 15mo. Any thoughts? Am assuming it's innocuous but should I run the gauntlet and try to book GP appt?

Yes I would see GP. Are you still breast feeding? Have periods been normal since birth?

I've had this for many years and went to the GP about it. I had a scan and smear test and everything was fine. It is pretty common but you should go to the GP just to get reassurance.

It's blooming annoying though!

Missed this! Annoying agreed... Not still BF and not on pill. In fact totally out of the blue. No downside in getting it checked out I guess, other than the inevitable wrestle at the GPs to actually get an appointment. Thanks for making me...(!)

(And v reassuring you experienced it), all been totally normal since birth but probably slightly neurotic given mum had endometrial cancer (and diagnosed v late). There is no genetic link I don't believe but can't hurt getting it checked out... Thanks again

I had to have a check once too and constant thrush just lately so been tested for all sorts. Better to get it checked but agree probably nothing to worry about. Think partly our bodies changing after babies.

Good to know, thank you so much. I think you're probably right. God knows my body's done some weird shit in the last 15 months!
