Every time I straighten my leg from a bent position there is an audible and painful clunking. The area aches constantly and im now getting Pins and needles in my foot.

Ive been seeing a physio who I believe to be good and he seems to be struggling to sort it, just says it will take time. Infact he's told me no need to see him anymore as he can't really do much and I just need to keep doing the exercises at home.

I had the same problem years ago and he sorted it in one session, maybe two sessions,,,,,,like flicking a switch. But this time it's not sorting.

Just wondering if anyone else has sacroiliac joint problems and how long it took to sort. Don't know if there's any point going to see my gP and ask for a referral to an orthopaedic type person. It's really getting me down.

Change your physio would be my advice and try taking some antiinflammatories.
I have a long history of SI problems, there are various things it could be: an isolated incident, sacro iliac dysfunction, limb length discepancy, sacroilitis, herniated disc, sciatica.
Some things do take time to resolve so your physio may not be wrong but if you're losing confidence go for a second opinion.

Thanks. Will keep going with the exercises for a few more weeks and if no improvement see another physio. Ive introduced planks and side planks to my exercises now to try and improve my core strength.
