Pollution and chemicals in the supply chain

I am concerned with how kids products - toys, clothes, furniture etc. are made: what chemicals are used in the production process and what ends up in the product and in our rivers (and wherever the factories are)

Do others worry about this? How do you decide which brand or shop is safest and pollutes least?

I salute you for caring.

I really don't give this a second thought.

The one thing I worried about was that earthquake in Japan last year that is still supposedly spewing radioactive waste into the north pacific - which is going into the fish that people eat.
