As the title says really! I have a big event in two weeks. I'm taking 250mg of cyclosporine a day to clear but this time it's not shifting! I'm moisturising twice a day but there are a few stubborn patches on my arm. I need to try and find a quick fix/ something to cover it! Anyone have any ideas?! Sad

What cream are you using?

I wonder about trying something a bit more medical as it's a one off occasion - steroid based? Although DD has some other stuff that's good too.

Def not infected at all?

Moisturise, moisturise, moisturise - as often as you can through the day. Try Aveeno cream, the oatmeal extracts help to calm the irritation. Drink lots of water too to hydrate your skin from inside out.

Trimevate works wonders for DD but I know it's difficult to get hold of and I think prescription only?

Rapid course of light therapy?

Thank you for all your suggestions, I will moisturise more and start drinking more water! I will ask about Trimevate- thank you! I can't do any light therapy unfortunately I'm consultant led on cyclosporine and having blood tests every 2 weeks to check liver function on them but strictly no light therapy allowed with it. I'm currently using epaderm only as topical- I think I have some dovobet somewhere too which I will need to dig out!

Thank you again for the suggestions- really appreciate them!

Try balneum bath soak, if the affected patch can be dunked. It's like giving angry psoriatic skin a warm hug. Your local pharmacist should stock it, or be able to order it in for you. It's my go-to treatment when my skin is about to flare.

Pure aloe Vera gelly! Absolutely the best thing to treat psoriasis.
