I switched back to Microgynon a year ago after a few years post DC of having to deal with horrific periods. I run three packs one after the other without a break. Had previously been on it throughout my 30s as it seems to manage my hormone fluctuations quite well. I'm starting to worry about the stroke risk though - was a smoker for much of my 20s and some of 30s.
I cannot cope with the coil. Can't go back to having periods.
Anyone been in a similar position? Any advice? I'm considering ablation. GP not much help other than repeatedly offering the coil.
