I'm getting a tooth extracted tomorrow for orthodontic purposes (hooray). I've had two extracted in the past. This tooth is quite near the front of my mouth (it is a noticeable tooth). The other two that were removed were at the back of my mouth.
I just wondered if you or any of your children have ever had a noticeable tooth removed?
How did you cope with eating and especially drinking afterwards? My dentist told me to avoid drinking out of a bottle (meaning a water bottle - Evian or something), cup or a straw
What kind of foods did you eat?
I don't get the braces fitted for another three weeks, so how did you cope going out? I mean, were you self conscious?
Thanks!
