Is it worth going to the doctors?

Been two weeks now with hacking cough, lots of lovely gunky chunky phlegm , wheezy at night, feel like crap.

A quick Google says docs won't prescribe antibiotics so not sure whether to just sit it out in the hope it is just a virus?

Go to the Dr. We cant tell you what the best course of action is as 1. Majority of is aren't hcp 2. We aren't there with you. You definitely can't be very well if you're hacking stuff up. X good luck x

What colour is the phlegm?

If it's clear it's probably viral (but the GP might consider an inhaler if he thinks it's bad enough) - if it's coloured the colour will let the GP know which is the best antibiotic for it :)
