Adult fiction I'd an odd forum for this. Why not health?

Cerealchanger Mon 11-Jan-16 17:54:45

I like the classic apple, celery, carrot, cucumber and ginger. The ginger gives it a nice kick.

Piffpaffpoff Mon 11-Jan-16 18:03:18

My absolute favorite is a simple carrot apple and ginger, although I am also quite fond of pineapple and nectarine. Both served over copious amounts of ice. Yum!

ninnytendo Mon 11-Jan-16 18:13:09

I like Kiwi, banana, apple and lime. It is very refreshing and tasty.

alialiath Mon 11-Jan-16 18:16:14

My favorite juice recipe consists of a couple of beetroot, a stick of celery a couple of carrots, an apple and a piece of root ginger. A great refreshing energy-lifting, immune-boosting drink to get your day f to a flying start.

4 stalks of celery
1 lemon, unpeeled
1 Apple
Optional: ginger to your taste

A nice fresh morning juicing recipe.

I've got 2 that I can't choose between:
1 is the classic - 2 apples, 2 carrots, half a lime and a small piece of ginger.
2 is all green - 1 green apple, 1 whole (!) cucumber, a handful of spinach and a large handful of mint. The mint really makes it sparkle.

I'm not very adventurous so just tend to stick to fruit- strawberry and banana, orange, pineapple and mango. I like the sound of the carrot, apple and ginger and would love to try more vegetable juices.

We used to like a grapefruit and lemon juice with hot water and honey, first thing in the morning! Felt like I was being healthy and set me up for the day. Would love to try more though, so really looking forward to keeping an eye on other people's ideas- winning the juicer would be excellent too, our old one got thrown away!

My zingy morning starter is:
Handful of kale
Half a stick of raw rhubarb
Squeeze of lime
A teaspoon of turmeric
Coconut water as required.

That'll wake you up!

My favourite breakfast (when I still had my lovely Phillips juicer sad), was:-

1 unwaxed lime
2 apples
2 sticks celery
1/2 cucumber
handful spinach
1 ripe avocado
1 teaspoon wheatgrass powder

The avocado and wheatgrass are added after juicing the rest, then blended to make a nutritious low-sugar tasty and filling creamy smoothie that gives enough energy to start the day on pre-workout and not get hungry until elevenses smile

Punkatheart Mon 11-Jan-16 19:21:33

It sounds a lot but boy it was good!

A punnet of raspberries
A punnet of blackberries
A banana
Four freshly squeezed oranges
A tablespoon of mango and passionfruit sorbet

LucToot Mon 11-Jan-16 19:23:59

Green For Go:
Pineapple
Apple
Spinach
Celery
Cucumber
Lime
Ginger
Blitz and then add an avocado for the last bit....ta-da!

lotsoffunandgames Mon 11-Jan-16 19:36:40

4 sticks of celery, 4 carrots, an apple and lemon and ginger to taste. I don't have a juicer at the moment though so I would love this one! smile

StillNoFuckingEyeDeer Mon 11-Jan-16 19:42:05

My favourite juice is orange, mango and passion fruit. Definitely not as healthy as everyone else's!
