He had chest pains, extreme dizziness, pins and needless. I keep trying to call him on his mobile but no answer for 2 hours.

Does anyone have any suggestions? Can I call the hospital? He went to A & E. Do I call them? Or could he simply be having tests and so not answering his phone right now?

Im panicking Sad.

OH no that sounds frightening. Call the hospital and say you are his next of kin and want to know what is happening.

Oh you poor thing. Yes call the hospital, they'll beable to let you know what's happening.

Dh was rushed to A and E a couple of nights ago in terrible pain. It turned out to be not serious so try not to worry.
They will be doing lots of tests to find out what's wrong.x

Yep call the hospital. Try not to panic yet though. Hospitals round here have terrible signal and he'll be asked not to use his phone if he's on monitoring equipment.

I hope you speak to him (Or at least get an update) soon.

He probably won't have his phone handy at the moment whilst they run the tests. I would call a&e and have a plan in place for if you need to join him, is there anyone you can call?

Thanks for responses. I can't breath, why is he not answering? We have DS age 3 & DD age 6 who is ADHD on meds. He can't leave us. Sure Im panicking but his father had a heart attack at 50. DH has high blood pressure. Oh this is sh*t.

Trying to get through to hospital now. . .

Hopefully it's just that his phone is switched off while they run tests. Can you ring a family member/friend/neighbour to sit with kids and make your way to the hospital to be with him?

Is there anyone who can come to be with the DC so you can go there?

Report
Duckdeamon · 01/01/2016 23:41

They've probably made him turn his mobile off.

Report
snottybeammeup · 01/01/2016 23:42

Oh thanks, you are right he may be on a monitor so no access to phone and all that.

No parents on either side and noone to call. Odd how people you've never met can be so supportive and family can be so cruel unsupportive.

They don't mess about with chest pain and assume it's serous so he'll be wired up to all sorts of machinery, and they'll be doing blood tests etc.
It could be lots of non serious things but they rule out the big things first.
Hope you get through to the hospital soon.

A lot of hospitals ask people to turn mobiles off. I hope you've been able to speak to someone at the hospital by now.

Can't have mobiles on near the machines. I would have expected that if something bad had happened you would have been called. Hope he is ok Thanks
