Is this a UTI?

I never get UTI’s and I think I’ve only had two doses of cystitis in my life (I’m 40) so I’m not sure. Self employed so don’t want to take time off to go the doctors if it nothing to worry about.

Symptoms:

  1. General burning sensation down below but not just when urinating – almost like I’ve cut chilli and rubbed myself but I haven’t
  2. A general sensation in my clitoris that feel like arousal but definitely isn’t i.e. rubbing it hasn’t made any difference (I just did it to investigate)
  3. A need to urinate more frequently (I always need to go more than normal due to child hood ailment) which doesn’t burn more or less than the general burning
  4. I don’t have a temperature or anything like that or feel nauseous
  1. Occasionally a get some abdominal discomfort (like an overfull bladder feeling) but nothing pronounced.

6. Its been on and off for about the last week.

I am 99.999 recurring percent sure it is not an STI.

Its just driving me mad and I want to fix it but don't know how.

Definately sounds like a UTI thats how mine start - go to the GP as a matter of urgency and get some antibiotics, if you can manage to collect a wee sample before you go, all the better. A nurse practitioner can hand out (but not prescribe) anti-biotics if you can't get in to see a Dr.

Honestly, UTIs are hell, don't put yourself through it.
