Anyone experienced this? Been in hospital recently where tests showed enlarged liver and spleen and a bit very well functioning right kidney. I've a gastroscopy on Friday but don't think that can see liver and spleen? Didn't really get any answers or treatment (I am pregnant) and pain was under control.
Now I'm home it's coming back quite bad, just feel a pressure under my left breast and it's very uncomfy, I've rang GP for advice this mornings and waiting for a call back as don't want to go back to hospital.
Just wondered if anyone had any ideas/experiences as don't want to consult Dr Google!

Do you know why your liver is enlarged? What does that mean is happening? I'm very and increasingly aware of something under my left rib. I've had terrible painful bloating for days on end and was doubled over in pain a month ago and was sick with it. My bloods are fine. Waiting for ultrasound now. Sorry not much help. The feeling reminds me of when I was pregnant and had my baby's feet in my ribs for about a month.

Nope they've given no answers for it. Some liver bloods elevated but been given no explanation at all. Still waiting on GP to phone back.
That sounds exactly like me - does it get worse after eating? Like there's no room? Hope you get your ultrasound done ASAP.

It could be stomach acid. Specially if eating changes the feeling. Do you feel full really fast? And have pain when stomach is empty so it can be worse just before meals. Then fullness after. I take omeprazole for it. Did you try gaviscon to see if it helps.

I have IBS and have this a lot, just assume it is a bowel thing. There is a thing called splenic flexure syndrome which I believe is a variant of IBS. Anyway, if you have an enlarged liver and spleen, at the very least, have you had any scanning done? either ultrasound or CT?

I'll look into that :) yes during my admission last week I had 2 ultrasounds and a CT which showed they were enlarging each time then when discharged by gynae team they said they didn't know cause and that medical team will see me.
Rang GP 10am still no phone call back and now they are back in surgeryConfused
