HELP!!!

I was looking for advice....I had the mirena coil inserted in Feb 2013 I have gradually had my periods reduce to 1 day which was a relief as I was very heavy before I had it put in. My periods had become so regular you could set your clock.....until recently.....my period was due 24th October and never arrived( if your squeamish look away now) my period if you could call it that eventually arrived 2 days ago but not what I would call normal....the blood is not fresh it's brown and I have severe pains in my lower stomach epically my right hand side. I had a bath there tonight to try to each the pains and discovered I have a hoop shaped thread peeping out from my vaginally. I'm so so sore and I'm worried incase it has moved or embedded or something cause the blood colour is not normal so many horror stories I'm so worried now

Sounds like your uterus is trying to expel the Mirena, causing the cramps. See a doctor or family planning clinic tomorrow. If it's too painful to wait, call 111 and see what they advise.

Stay off Google and visit a GUM clinic or your GP tomorrow to get it checked out.
