Yesterday afternoon I suddenly got a horrible pain in my right hip. It got worse as the day went on and when I woke up this morning it was still agony. I can walk on it (only just) but every step is so sore and I've got a limp.
Nothing happened to trigger it off that I can remember.
Any advice? Wait it out and see if it gets better? Resting it too much will be difficult with three dc and a hyper dog but I will try!

I'd never heard of that but have had a good look and the symptoms seem to fit 
Pain is just as bad now, even sitting without moving is causing me a lot of pain. Managed to walk the dog very very slowly and with a weird limp so I can actually move. My knee is also sore now, I guess from walking strangely!
